Let me start off by saying that I knew it was all a lie and that is the #1 reason you did not see me post about it on the site. Early last week it was reported that former B2K member, Raz B, had been involved in an altercation in a Chinese nightclub that left him beaten with a bottle and a gash in his lip that required 4 stitches. What you did not see posted here (because I didn’t believe the hype) is that a “member of Raz B’s team” confirmed that the R&B singer was on life support and in a coma following the incident. According to the “team member,” Raz B was found unconscious by one of his back up dancers and when he wouldn’t wake up, they rushed him to the hospital where he was placed on life support. A statement was issued asking that fans pray for the singer’s recovery. Earlier this morning, miraculously Raz B arose from his coma, responsive, smiling and breathing on his own. Look at God!
Chile please! It turns out it was one big hoax after all.

An online media report that R&B singer De’Mario “Raz B” Thornton was in a coma in China was a hoax, according to his agent.
“The comments about Raz being in a coma did not come from his official representative,” manager Elayne Rivers told CNN Monday.
The singer’s brother, who performs under the name Ricky Romance, said in a statement sent to CNN Monday afternoon that he had been “misled by unknown reasons.”
“I was unfortunately unable to contact my brother at the time and then panicked,” Romance said. “I then alerted as many people of this information hoping to gather facts… Since the source that gave me this information was what I thought to be legitimately reliable I didn’t question I just believed. I apologize if I seem like I jumped to conclusions but a coma is a serious situation and it was concerning my brother whom is my best friend as well. I sincerely apologize for the confusion I caused if that is the case.”
Let me tell you what I think really went down. Raz B and Ricky Romance have been known for their stunts and shows ever since they both claimed that Chris Stokes molested them, took back the molestation claim, claimed it again, claim Marques Houston molested them, moved to China, fell through a sliding glass window….listen, you get my point. Raz B stunts for publicity and this is what he is known for. For over a year or so things have been quiet for the young singer and when he saw the story of his club incident make front page of TMZ and other blogs, a light bulb went off. How do you prolong 15 minutes? By nearly dying, that’s how!
I feel that once he saw the hype the original story had that he felt he could drag the story even longer. I didn’t believe the coma story merely based on the fact that TMZ reported that they had spoken to Raz B following the incident and he said he was fine and “planning a come back.” Granted, shit happens, but unless the stitches sent him into some kind of toxic shock, I wasn’t buying the coma bit. There were NO details surrounding the coma. A mere “he didn’t wake up, pray for him” was all the info TMZ received? Then by the grace of God he didn’t die? I don’t believe for one second that some third party unreliable source reached out to TMZ. I definitely believe it was someone in Raz B’s camp. I believe this simply based off the fact this whole thing went for a span of 5 days or so.
If Raz B got wind of his “near death” why wasn’t a statement issued earlier? Please pray for Raz B, he clearly needs your prayer. Not because of his coma, but because he is pushing 30 and still attention seeking. It’s unhealthy.
