Mariah Carey has been hospitalized with what doctors have diagnosed as a severe case of he flu. Reports say she fell extremely ill Wednesday morning and is currently in an NYC hospital, hooked up to an IV.
Mariah made an appearance on Pier 1 in NYC on Tuesday evening and soon after began to feel ill. Her team made the executive decision to get her to the hospital immediately. She’s currently being pumped full of fluids and vitamins. She could possibly be released later today.
Mariah Carey is scheduled to appear at Hot 97’s “Hot for the Holidays” concert in NJ alongside Busta Rhymes on Saturday. Hopefully she gets well before then!
