Michael B. Jordan To Star In “The Thomas Crown Affair” Remake – blogged by: @Chargotit

“Creed” star, Michael B. Jordan has been tapped to star in the second remake of “The Thomas Crown Affair.”

The film is in its early stages as there is no producer, writer or director just yet, however Jordan will capitalize off of his $172 million worldwide success for “Creed” by teaming up with MGM Studios yet again.

According to Variety, The original “Thomas Crown Affair,” directed by Norman Jewison, was released in 1968. Steve McQueen and Faye Dunaway starred in the film, in which McQueen’s character masterminded a $2.66 million Boston bank robbery without meeting any of the four thieves. Dunaway played the insurance investigator who realized that Crown had orchestrated the heist.

Director John McTiernan’s 1999 remake starred Pierce Brosnan and Rene Russo. The film was a solid hit, grossing $124 million worldwide.

Jordan Michael B. Jordan has become quite the demand in the land Hollywood and we wish him nothing but continued success.
