Model Accuses K. Michelle Of Stealing Her Photoshoot Concept

I’m sure you’ve seen the sexy photos K. Michelle has taken for her “Anybody Wanna Buy A Heart” album (in stores now). Well, a young model from Florida says she came up with the concept first and has put K. Michelle on blast.

A young woman by the name of Tatyana took a series of photos with a photographer that ended up becoming popular on Tumblr. As you already know, photos on Tumblr travel — FAST! “It has been brought to my attention that @kmichellemusic copied my picture exactly from 4 months ago to promote her new album. Can someone with some type of legal background tell me if I can do anything from a legal standpoint?” Tatyana posted to Instagram, showing a side-by-side of she and K. Michelle’s photo. Without a doubt, the photos are very very similar. From the hair, to the pose and the strategic placement of flowers.

Tatyana’s posts spread like wildfire and maybe she (or someone else) came at K. Michelle one too many times because K. Michelle has since blocked her without a response. You be the judge, are these photos similar?

Lil Kim had a similar situation happen to her recently. She borrowed a photo she found on Tumblr for use on her mixtape and the model ended up hitting her with a big lawsuit.
