Philadelphia Eagles WR Nelson Agholor is being accused of raping a dancer at Cheerleaders Gentleman’s Club.
According to the victim, the incident happened on Thursday around 3pm. She says she was raped at the Gentleman’s Club, which is located near the team’s off-season practice site. She says at least two of the Eagles teammates were present.
According to police commissioner Richard Ross, Philadelphia’s Special Victims Unit is actively investigating and are trying to track down video footage from the club. According to the police commissioner, detectives also look to interview Agholor very soon.
The Eagles have released a statement regarding the claims against Agholor.
“We are aware of the police investigation surrounding Nelson Agholor,” the statement reads. “The organization has been in contact with Nelson and with the proper authorities in Philadelphia. Because of the legal nature of this matter, we will have no further comment.”
23 year old Agholor was drafted 20th overall by the Eagles in 2015.
