Terrell Suggs has been a bad bad boy. I guess he won’t be getting any chocolates for Valentine’s Day. Candace Suggs,Terrell’s wife of two years, filed for divorce in late December, citing infidelity as the reason for their split.
In the divorce Candace is seeking custody of the couple’s 6 and 7 year old children. She is also seeking child support and alimony. Last week Suggs filed a response, seeking joint custody.
Suggs denies cheating on his wife while they were together. His attorney issued a statement saying, “The allegations she makes concerning Mr. Suggs occurred well after they separated. They were no longer in love and they no longer wanted to be married to one another.”
You may recall Terrell and Candace have quite an explosive history together. In 2009, before they were married, she filed a request for a protective order claiming he had hit her and spilled bleach on her and their 1-year-old son. In 2012, Candace accused him of punching her in the neck and dragging her behind his car as he drove away with their two children. A month later they got married. This relationship was clearly doomed from the start.
