Just when I thought I wasn’t going to have to post anything bad about Royce White again because he was let back on an NBA team and can finally make those child support payments — he proved me wrong.
While Royce White, who currently plays for the Philadelphia 76ers, was fresh off the Houston Rockets roster and heading to Philly any day now, he was dating Maxim model Tania Mehra. One night while still in Texas, things between he and Tania got a little volatile. On June 22 someone called 911 to report a laceration above Tania’s right eye but once cops arrived, Tania claimed she “fell”. Tania has since changed her tune, claiming White was the cause of her injury and claiming that the only reason she lied was because he played in the NBA and she didn’t want to damage his career. You know, the career he damages every time he throws a hissy fit and doesn’t show up for games and practices.
Sources say the altercation started when Tania became angered at Royce for making advances towards her friend. During the altercation sources say Royce even picked up a candle holder and threw it at her. Luckily it missed Tania and smashed a glass mirror instead. The incident is still being investigated and no charges have been filed yet.
Royce White is a 22 year old father of four. You would think he’d be walking the straight and narrow, trying to support his children before another team gives him the boot.
