Seahawks’ Fred Jackson Crashes Car

Seahawks fans worry not, running back Fred Jackson is reportedly okay after crashing his black corvette near the Seahawks practice facility on Tuesday.

According to ESPN, Jackson drove his black Corvette into a large planter box and a stop sign, then dragged the sign across a two-lane road. Jackson sustained no injuries despite the front end of his Corvette being seriously damaged.

TMZ previously reported that Jackson was racing Marshawn Lynch when the incident happened but Jackson says that it not true. He took to Twitter to refute the rumors. “Thanks 2 everyone worried about me. I lost control of my car,” Jackson tweeted. “My teammates, including Marshawn, stopped 2 check on me. They weren’t racin me.”

Renton Police corroborate Jackson’s account of what happened. Early news releases indicated that Jackson was racing another team member and was removed from the scene by team security before officers could investigate. These reports are false,” Renton police said in a statement. ” As of this time, there is no indication that Jackson was racing another vehicle. He remained on scene until officers could speak to him. He was polite and cooperative.”
