When in Austin, TX you do as the Austinites do, get drunk on Sixth Street. That’s exactly what actor Shia LaBeouf did and it landed him in jail Friday night.
The incident took place outside of Recess on Sixth Street around 7pm on Friday night. “Due to pending adjudication, no further details will be released at this time,” Austin police said in a statement.
LaBeouf, who has had his share of run-ins with police, allegedly tried walking into a bar with a female companion but was denied entry because they were too drunk. Shia cursed out the bouncer, and tried forcing himself into the bar, but was blocked again so he walked off. When walking away the 28 year old actor bizarrely ran down the street and jaywalked in front of police. They warned him not to do it but he continued, so he was suffered.
A bouncer at the bar, Recess, caught the arrest on video. Shia Labeouf was in town for week two of the Austin City Limits festival.
