Sixers rookie, Jahlil Okafor, hasn’t quite gotten the hang of how to deal with hecklers and it was apparent after he found himself involved in a street fight on Wednesday night.
Video footage has surfaced of Okafor hitting a man outside of a Boston nightclub following the Sixers 84-80 loss to the Boston Celtics. According to a rep for Okafor, the 19 year lottery draft pick and an unnamed teammate were heckled the moment they left the nightclub and felt threatened when he was swarmed on the street. Things turned ugly when someone yelled “76ers suck” and someone “got physical” with Okafor’s teammate.
No arrests were made and everyone pretty much left on their own accord. The 76ers are currently 0-16.
