Slim Thug Explains How Having Sex With His Real Estate Agent Ruined His Credit

You know how they say “don’t sh*t where you eat” in reference to not having sex with co-workers? Well apparently you shouldn’t sh*t where you live either. Take it from rapper Slim Thug who recently shared some advice with The New York Times.

A few years ago Slim Thug was interested in selling his five bedroom Houston area home and heard about an opportunity the Obama administration was offering that would assist homeowners with short-sale deals, where the lender settles for a sale price below the amount owed on the mortgage. He found himself a real estate agent and in time they became close…really close. How close? Well, they ended up dating and when she realized Slim was just like all of the other Ballers, her feelings got in the way and she ended up hurt.

Slim Thug tells the New York Times that she was so wrapped in their personal drama that business took a backseat. “After the end of our personal relationship, the deadline expired for taking advantage of the short-sale program. I ended up in foreclosure. So not only did I lose out on money from a potential sale, but I ruined my credit as well. I’ve suffered financially from not being able to do business in my own name and probably lost around $200,000 directly and indirectly through my mistake.”

I always knew sex complicated things but this took it to an entirely different level. Let this be a cautionary tale to men, keep it in your pants. And ladies, check your feelings (and your legs) at the door.

*Retraction* An earlier version of this article named Alicia Jammer as the real estate agent Slim Thug was involved with. That information was incorrect. Alicia Jammer is a real estate agent but was never Slim Thug’s agent nor did she have anything to do with the foreclosure of Slim Thug’s home or any type of financial loss.
