Spurs Tim Duncan Announces Retirement

It’s the day San Antonio Spurs fans never wanted to see. 15-time NBA All-Star, Tim Duncan,  has officially announced his retirement after 19 seasons with the organization. 

Tim Duncan was selected by the San Antonio Spurs as the first overall pick in the 1997 NBA Draft. He’s lead the Spurs to the playoffs each of his 19 seasons. The team’s won 5 titles under his leadership.

Tim Duncan is just one of three players in NBA history to spend 19 seasons with one franchise. The list also includes John Stockton and Kobe Bryant.

Spurs fans will truly miss Tim!
