The news gets even better for Steve Harvey. Entertainment Tonight reports that prior to Sunday’s debacle, Steve Harvey signed a multi-year contract to host the Miss Universe pageants. You know what that means? Regardless of the Steve’s blunder over the weekend, he was going to return next year anyway.
Mark Shapiro, chief content officer for WME | IMG told The Jim Rome Show that he would absolutely want Steve Harvey back to host again. Multiple Sources tell ET that days before the pageant aired, the Family Feud host signed a multi year contract for “more than they’ve ever paid before for a host.”
Though the details have not been revealed, the source says Harvey’s contract extends anywhere from 3-7 years.
Looks like the veteran TV host will be A-OK!
