I didn't see it for Shawty Lo before the petition and professed this on the blog featuring the trailer! Yes, he's signed with 50 Cent's G-Unit but who wants to hear any new music from him in 2013?? We left him in 2009. Eleven, I think these people have a point. He's just so messy!

I signed the petition and hope it gets 500,000 signatures.   Hell, why not have him put on black face and tap dance while eating chicken and watermelon, it'd be the same damn thing.  This isn't ratchet, it's just cooning and I can't believe they green lighted this s***.  Malcom and Martin died so his black ass could show he had no d*** control and these women had so common sense.  Do I expect us to be perfect, no, but there should be a point were we say no to cooning and this is mine.

black men and women have enough negative stereotypes and we dont need to keep perpetuating them with these ratchett television shows. i dont want to see a bunch of "baby mommas" bickering, i dont want to see him talking trash about women that he procreated with, & i dont want see him tricking on a sugar baby.. while his kids tryna figure out where they stand in all his fu**kery. someone on oxygen must really have a problem with black people . having 10 baby mommas is not "cool" . its sad, disgusting, and irresponsible. White people have their rachett reality shows, too. 'Sisterwives' has less baby mommas and twice as many babies. If white people can help them feed their babies by watching that, I can try to help shawty lo feed his. (I say 'try' because I'm not really sure I'll be able to stomach this sh*t )

But seriously stupid double standards going on here. If this show airs, then most of America will assume all black people are like this. But when all of the other Caucasian persuasion reality shows are on, most of America doesn't think the same. Why? Because they are so "diverse"? I call b*******. Now I'm not saying that it should be shown to the masses for entertainment but it is what it is. Different people are entertained in different ways. From the gladiators of the past to the fictitious Hunger Games, someone is going to like it. But I'm tired of this whole "This is degrading to the black race" talk. Hell, it's all damn near degrading for each and every race involved on most of these shows. Not just for us.

Let them have their damn TV show. So I can watch my one episode. Dammit.

@Eleven oh! Ok, I think I'm mixing this up with Sister Wives (I think that's the one).  It's all ratchet if you ask me. 

@BlkButtafly I totally agree with you about the double standards.  Unfortunately, that will never change.  If they air this show, they'll have something to say and if they don't air this show, they'll find something else to say.  Same way all these white people that are shooting up everything are "sick", "mentally ill" but let a black person do it and they're "gangsters", "thugs" and "terrorists".
