TLC's "Starter Wives Confidential" Cast & Trailer
We're coming up on the premiere of TLC's Starter Wives Confidential reality show which features the ex wives and girlfriends of everyone from Floyd Mayweather to Lamar Odom. Finally we get a sneak peek trailer to accompany a few of the brief bios we have been getting. The video actually makes me want to watch it more because unlike other "Wives" shows, these girls are allowed to discuss their former spouses. I can only imagine the type of tea they end up spilling. Will you be catching Starter Wives Confidential when it airs Tuesday, January 29th at 9pm EST?
MEET THE CAST
Brooklyn-born-and-bred Zakia Baum is a passionate and devout Christian woman with a flair for the dramatic. She shares a son with her ex, rapper Jermaine “Maino” Coleman. “I’ve never done [Maino] dirty,” said Zakia. “So it’s time for me to tell my story.”
Tashera Simmons is striving to get her life and finances on track while divorcing her childhood sweetheart, rapper DMX. They have four children. “I was 100% mother and wife,” said Tashera. “When I love, I love hard. [DMX] was great at what he did – which was cheating – but I’m happy as hell now. I’ve found someone very special in my life.”
Known for her highly publicized and tumultuous relationship with boxing legend Floyd Mayweather Jr., Josie Harris is the mother of three of his children and is trying to start over while figuring out how to co-parent with Floyd. “Actually, I went to see [Floyd Mayweather] last week,” revealed Josie, but denied that any sex took place.
The soon-to-be ex-wife and formerly silent partner of superstar DJ and radio personality Funkmaster Flex, Monica Joseph-Taylor is the owner of a successful blog called Mommy’s Dirty Little Secret and is learning to stand on her own while raising their two children.
Liza Morales is the ex-girlfriend of NBA baller Lamar Odom and the mother of their three children. While grieving the death of their youngest and silently watching the whirlwind romance of her ex play out in the tabloids, Liza is stepping out of the shadows and finding her voice. “[Lamar] is the only man I’ve ever been with,” said Liza, when asked about being a ‘Lamar virgin.’ “I know the worth of my cookies.”
Ex-wife of mobster Phil “Philly” Caruso and mother of two daughters, Cheryl Caruso has rebuilt her life as a business woman by running a tequila business.

Not one of these photos look flattering. I'm going to need the photographer to not take an HD photo so close to their face when they are wearing 10 pounds of makeup- yes, every single one of them.
I am interested in watching this show though...

I'm not saying that I won't watch AT ALL, but this ish is BEYOND ridiculous now. Is this the price you have to pay for being famous? Privacy is so undervalued nowadays and everyone is selling their life stories for a quick buck.
I would not want my legacy to be tied solely to a man I was dealing with or simply b/c I'm the mother of their children. Ladies we need to do better than this. I don't think I can stomach another one of these ex-wives/baby momma/ fiancé/ jump off/ we dated once upon a time television shows. Smh

Every women in this cast, except DMX's wife, can stand to lose half her body weight. Is it me or does this women look washed up and depressed? I know how hard a break up can be but the best revenge is revamping yourself and showing him what he will never have again. Hopefully the money from this show will help them do it. I'm rooting for them.
