Usher is heartless. Period. This woman just lost her son and now you take her children away?  This is heart breaking. I believe that there could have been a way of resolving this custody issue without it going to these lengths. I feel for Tameka.

I see judges are awarding primary custody of 'sons' to fathers lately.  Regardless of the mother's ability to parent.

SN:  I think when Usher asked for the hearing to be postponed because of her son's passing she should have taken his gesture and cooled off for a bit. I don't think she realized 'how it looks' in the judges eyes that she went right back to trial with no grieving period.

I can't begin to imagine how she feels. first she loses her son, now this?  I definitely agree something like this could have possibly been handled out of court, where both parties could have come to a mature mutual agreement.

Given all that has taken place, this surely does make him appear heartless. When its all said & done, the kids are what matters most & in most times they suffer.  Sad times, but Lord, prayers go out to Tameka for real.

I agree with @Spicey, I think they should have postponed the trial until she was somewhat healed from grieving AND they BOTH should have accepted the joint custody agreement. I think somewhere down the line, this was no longer about what was best for the children, both parties were hell bent on trying to screw the other party and make each other look bad.

I feel bad for Tameka b/c she just lost her son and I don't think removing two more of her children at this point was the right move, but honestly, I don't think Usher is any less capable of being a great father than Halle Berry or any other woman in entertainment is capable of being a great mother.

I really thought that they would come to an agreement.  This was just too messy.  I think there is a lot more to the story, but those boys need both parents in their life.
