Last summer Tracy Morgan’s limo was involved in a wreck with a Walmart truck that left Morgan’s colleague, James McNair, dead and Morgan in months of physical therapy. The accident was allegedly due to the driver not sleeping in the past 28 hours. Investigators say he neglected to slow down moments before the crash despite signs warning of slow traffic ahead.
35 year old Kevin Roper, the truck driver, was charged on Wednesday with charged with aggravated manslaughter, vehicular homicide, and eight counts of aggravated assault.
Morgan’s assistant, Jeffrey Milea, as well as comedians Harris Stanton and Ardie Fuqua were also injured in the accident.
