Snapped on Lifetime is one of my favorite shows. Please don't ask me why. We have all snapped at one point in time. In one split second your anger can turn into a nightmare.

I caught the Nikki Redmond story and it hit home. Nikki was a girl that was in love. A smart girl...she finished Spelman college in three years and became a teacher. She was a runner-up in the Miss Savannah pageant.

One problem..she was dating a two-timing man by the name of Kevin Shorter. Nikki said he was abusive..(don't know if they proved that). Kevin proposed to her...after the two were engaged for three months Nikki found out that Kevin was engaged to another girl (he bought both of them rings). Nikki approaches Kevin and the other girl and Kevin started screaming things like "you are nothing to me". Nikki shot Kevin in the leg - Nikki claimed self defense. Complications at the hospital had Kevin bleeding internally for three days and he passed.

Nikki was charged with murder but was later acquitted...

In my opinion..she probably did shoot him in a jealous rage. Our emotions get the best of us sometimes. For a man to ask a female to marry him and to find out he is engaged to another female is foul. By no means did Kevin Shorter deserve to die.

Ladies..we have to get in control of our emotions. Learn to walk away from these triflin men. When I heard the news of Kandi's ex being passing from being hit in the head with a bottle I was shocked but it also humbled me. I have thrown a few bottle or two at people. I have done things that I do not even want to post on this blog. It could have turned very ugly and my life could have been changed forever.

These men out here are not worth it...if they dog the hell out of you just walk away..and heal.

To the fellas: stop playing with women emotions. If you still want to play and be disrespectful please watch Snapped and watch how many wives and girlfriends SNAP and kill their boyfriends/husbands.

Be careful out there...anger management.
