Woman Gives Her Child Fake Bruises In Order To Win Custody

A woman will go through great lengths for their children, but this may have taken the cake.

20 year old Taylier Tibbetts edited a photograph of her son to make it appear as if he had bruises on him. Tibbetts used the photo to allege that Bryant Clark, the child’s father, had abused him. Tibbetts not only contacted authorities with her claims, but also uploaded the photo to GoFundMe in hopes of raising money for an attorney.

Tibbetts promoted the GoFundMe link on social media. She even posted on Facebook, saying,  “Please, I’m looking for donations. Anything helps, if you can’t donate share this link, get this viral! Justice for [my son]!!!!”

Police discovered that the photograph Tibbetts posted had been doctored, an allegation she denies.

“Under the circumstances, I can’t exactly give detail about it, but I will say I made a report and I didn’t lie about anything,” she said. “I’m not a criminal. I’m not a bad mom. I’m not a drug addict. I’m just a mother trying to do what’s right for her son.”

According to Tibbetts baby daddy, Bryant Clark, she’s been accusing him of abuse for years.

“She claiming that I’ve been abusive for the last three years. We’ve been in the court system for the last three years fighting for him,” Clark said. He insists he is a good father and doesn’t harm the couple’s son.

Tibbetts was charged with making a false report. She turned herself in to police and  was released on a $2,000 bail. She is due back in court on May 24. No word on how this will affect her custody hearing.
